Andrea Ramirez Romo is a 20-year-old artist, singer-songwriter, lyricist, photographer, producer, and award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. Currently studying Creative Producing at Chapman University and pursuing an art minor in the fall, Andrea is a natural storyteller across mediums, blending poetic lyricism with raw, intimate narratives whether on screen, in song, or through the lens of a film camera.
After taking a gap year as a director’s assistant, Andrea has continued to build a multidisciplinary practice rooted in collaboration, ambition, and a deep love for making projects happen, even in the most miraculous of ways. She frequently produces and creative directs campaigns in the LA fashion scene for brands such as Pinup Rags and MoojiMooji, while also producing award-winning short films recognized by YoungArts, All American High School Film Festival, Westflix, and more. Her most recent award was “Female Rising Star” at the All American High School Film Festival.
Andrea believes art is both a privilege and a core part of her practice, and she does her best to show her closest friends and fellow creatives how grateful she is for them every chance she gets. Outside of her formal work, she is an avid curator of rare and vivid vintage pieces, a collector of old cameras, and a devoted shooter of real film. If she’s not working, she’s likely in the darkroom developing and printing.
